Martha was born in Charles City County, Virginia.

No her household servant educated her at home.
3. Did she have any hobbies?
Martha loved music. She played the violin, the keyboard and the guitar.
4. When was her husband president? How many years?
Thomas Jefferson was President of the United States from 1801-09 for eight years.

Actually, she died before she could serve as the nations first lady.

She was weakened an died from frequent pregnancies. Martha died nineteen years before her husband was elected President. She was also diagnosed with diabetes.
