When John Adams was the president, Abigail stood right by his side.  	
Where was she born?
Weymouth, Massachusetts

1.	Did she have any formal education?   
Abigail didn’t have a formal education but did read many books to satisfy her curiosity.

2.	Did she have any hobbies?  
Abigail did not pursue any hobbies but she did read and stay in touch with her family and friends

3.	When was her husband president? 
John Adams was the president from 1796 to 1800. He served for four years.


4. Name a few things she did as first lady.   
Abigail strongly urged for women’s rights including the right to an education. Also, she was strongly opposed to slavery. She involved herself in many political discussions and wrote several letters to persuade people on different topics.

5.	Did she write any books?   
Abigail did not write any known books but did write letters to various people.

6.	Was there a wedding at the White House? 
There were no weddings in the White House.

7	Was she involved in any charity?
Abigail Adams strongly urged for women’s rights and freedoms. She also pushed to abolish slavery

8.	What is something unique about her life?
When John Adams was the president, Abigail stood right by his side. She involved herself in everything he did and  helped him in every way she could. She was so caught up in politics, many people called her Mrs. President.  Although it was an insult, it did not seem to bother her.
