She liked riding and taking nature walks. She liked to curl up with a book.

September 14, 1901-March 4 1909-8 years

She restored the white house to an 18th century style, created the Office of the First Lady, and created a china collection in the White House that was permanent.

No, she did not.

No.

No.

9. What is something unique about her life? 
She was against the ban on alcohol, because she thought the government should not be able to control people’s personal habits.  

The public loved following the president’s wife’s fashion, so whenever she had dresses made for her she would have the rest of the fabric destroyed. That way, no one could wear the same thing as her.
