              He served for four years, from 1825-1829.

5.	How much was his salary?        $25,000 per year
6.	Where did he go to college? 
He went to Harvard College and graduated in 1787 and became a lawyer. 
7.	Did he have a wife? Children(how many)?
Louisa Catherine Johnson was his wife and they got married on July 26, 1797. They had 4 children. 
8.	Are there any unusual circumstances that made him president?
    He was president Monroe’s secretary of state then elected for president but there was no majority of electoral votes between the candidates so the vote went to the House of Representatives.  Since Adams was from the north and a friend of the popular Andrew Jackson he was selected to be the 6th President.
