Delaware Valley Science Competition awarded the following awards last night following Wednesdays competition: Arjun Suryawanshi and Rohan Kapoor - 1st place TEAM award; Josh Vallabhaneni - 2nd place award in Engineering; Varoon Joshi - 2nd place award in Behavioral & Social Sciences; Anand Shah - 3rd place award in Medicine & Health. Congratulations to all of these students!
The following Patton students competed in regional Bee competitions in March in Cinnaminson, NJ: Amy Goodman, John Kinsley, Rikhil Kumar, Nate Lawrence, Suhan Neema and Dylan Potts. John qualified for the national Science and History Bees taking place in Chicago in June. In the History Bee: Amy, Nate and Rikhil qualified for the International and National competitions; and John and Suhan qualified for the National competitions. In the Academic Bee: Nate, Rikhil and Suhan qualified for the National competition. In the Science Bee: Amy, John, Rikhil and Suhan qualified for the National competition. In addition, Nate Lawrence traveled to Harrisburg to the State Geographic Bee that was held in the State Museum of Pennsylvania. He had a great run but did not move on to Nationals.We are #PattonProud of these students on their achievements!
Congratulations on the selection of Arjun Suryawanshi, Joshua Vallabhaneni, Rohan Kapoor, Varoon Joshi, as Nominees for the 2019 Broadcom MASTERS (Math, Applied Science, Technology and Engineering for Rising Stars), a program of Society for Science & the Public. Only the top 10% of middle school projects nationwide are invited to apply online for the national competition. Just receiving a nomination is a huge honor and amazing achievement!
