The 7th grade girls basketball team won a nailbiter on Friday against crosstown rival Kennett.  The final score was 25-22.  In the fourth quarter, Maddie Courtney made a 3 pointer to give the Hawks the lead, Allie Stabislawzyk made a jumper and  Savannah Lang sunk 2 foul shots to secure the win for the Hawks.  Milanna Amoss was high scorer with 12 points, while Courtney had 7 and Lang chipped in 4.  Lang also had an incredible 12 blocked shots!  A shoutout to our manager, Jason Jones, our fans and all the teachers who cheered us on!  The team travels to Peirce today for another tough game.  Dismissal is at 2 today.

Yesterday was Giving Tree Delivery Day!! Patton students delivered our donated gifts to the New Garden Township Maintenance Building and then helped organize food items into the 600 boxes in preparation for The Kennett Area Community Services' Christmas Basket charity event on the weekend of December 15th. 600 needy families are invited to attend the event, choose gifts from the hundreds of donations and take home donated canned and fresh food. We are PattonProud of all of you, thank you for your generosity this holiday season!

What's the best thing about the holiday season? Not presents! Not the break from school!  The best part of the holiday season is the UGLY SWEATERS! 7th Grade, dig up or craft together your Ugly holiday sweaters. On Thursday December 20, wear your ugly holiday sweater to be crowned the Most Festive of All. Winners will be announced on Friday during Hawk Time. And let's continue the spirit with Festive Friday, dress in your most spirited attire.

Earlier this week the 8th grade girls basketball team played at home against Engle Middle School.  The game was a low scoring defensive struggle from beginning to end, with the Patton Hawks earning the victory.  Leading the defensive effort for Patton was Annika Tuerff, Ella Mangano, Bella Watson, Olivia Wright, Molly O'Hair, and Delaney Harlan.  Leading the scoring for the Hawks was Maddie Baughan with two 3 pointers, Anna Brown and Riley Angstadt with 4 points each, and Katie Bowers with 2 points. Come out and support the Hawks as they take on their rivals from Kennett Middle School today!

On Wednesday, December 12th the Patton Hawk Wrestlers defeated Fred Engle 51-30. The Hawk wrestlers tallied 7 Pins in the match!

The 7th grade girls basketball team picked up a big win over Avon Grove yesterday.  Milana Amoss was high scorer with 9 points while Maddie Courtney and Savannah Lang each chipped in 5 points.  Ava Kerr and Allie Stanislawczyk each added a basket.  Come support the girls on Friday as they host crosstown rival, Kennett!  GO HAWKS!!

The 7th grade girls basketball team won an exciting game against Fugett yesterday.  The final score was 27-21. Savannah Lang led the team with 13 points with 7 of them coming from the foul line.  Milana Amoss had 7 points including a three.  Lily Holt chipped in 4 points while Kerri Menninger added a basket.  Come out and support the team on Wednesday as they host Avon Grove. GO HAWKS!

HawkTV is a daily, live morning newscast, which is broadcast throughout the school as well as online. This entirely student-produced program is comprised of students working both on camera as presenters as well as behind the scenes in the production crew. Students and teachers are also involved in the broadcast through special announcements as well as student-created videos.
