Hey 8th graders!! The 8th Grade End of the Year Celebration will be on Friday, June 8th from 5:30-9:30 p.m.  We look forward to creating a fun event to commemorate your time at Patton Middle School!  In order to do so, we need your input! Check your email for a survey for you to complete.

Students who ordered Writers Day books, most of the books have arrived and been given to your Advisory teachers to distribute to you. If you did not receive a book that you ordered, please see Mrs. Rafferty.  Please be aware that The Summer of Letting Go and Traveler are backordered. We are hoping to receive them by the end of the week. Thanks for your patience.

Would the following students please report to the library immediately for PSSA make up testing, Catherine Glavin and Edison Dewilde.

Congratulations to Allison Van. She is a member of the The Downingtown Robotics "Team 7244, Out of the Box" that has advanced to the World Championship to be held later this month in Michigan following impressive victories in international competition.

On Thursday the 8th grade girls lacrosse team beat Fugett Middle School by a score of 11-2. Patton goals were scored by Katie Dettore, Chloe Lockwood, Lizzy Watson, Caroline Hopkins, Amanda Wolfe with 2, Tatum Williams with 2, and Alexis Brown with 3 goals. 

Come one, come all to Unionville High School NEXT Thursday, Friday or Saturday at 7:30 to see the William Goldman classic"The Princess Bride" brought to life. Adapted for the UHS stage from the popular book by the same name, "The Princess Bride" is filled with good versus evil, true love, fencing, Rodents of Unusual Size (ROUS), shrieking eels, good men, bad men, miracles, lies, truths and so much more. Come join the fun and see what Ms. Ballard has been up to since spring break!

Attention Music Students... This Friday will be the last Patton goes to the Movies Night of the year.  We will be seeing Star Wars: The Last Jedi after our pizza party.  See Mr. O'Rourke in the band room if you still need a form for the night.

Have you taken art yet this year? If you have, did you take your clay project home? The art teachers are Spring Cleaning this week! If you want your project ........ Pick it up Now!! All projects left in the art rooms will be given away on Monday!

Reminder: All carnival baskets are due to the library on (or before) April 23rd!

7th and 8th grade girls lacrosse had their first game and win of the season on Friday vs. Chichester. 8th grade won 10-0, with goals from Amanda Wolfe, Cate Constable, Sage Temple, Alexis Brown, Abby Hyman, Liza Cawley, 2 from Tatum Williams and 2 from Zenna Mariani

7th grade, who won 9-1, had goals scored by, Ella Mangano, Maddie Baughan, Madeline Long, Mia Price, Delaney Harlan, Molly Main, Anna Brown and 2 from Annika Tuerff. The girls next game will be tomorrow at home. Come out and support!

6th grade band, 7th & 8th grade chorus and 6th grade orchestra at hawk time.

HawkTV is a daily, live morning newscast, which is broadcast throughout the school as well as online. This entirely student-produced program is comprised of students working both on camera as presenters as well as behind the scenes in the production crew. Students and teachers are also involved in the broadcast through special announcements as well as student-created videos.
