National Poem in Your Pocket Day is this Thursday! Carry a printed version of your favorite poem in your pocket that day. Read it to at least five people - get their signatures on the paper! Two of the people must be Patton staff members. Show your signed poem to your English teacher for a candy prize!
On April 2nd, four students from Patton, Mahima Basker, Avni Dhargalkar, Aditi Chodavarapu, and Suzu Noda, attended the 36th annual Women in Mathematics, Science & Technology Conference offered by Millersville University to area middle school and high school students. Read more.

Akshant Keveti had his Invention Convention project selected for the national competition and is heading to The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Michigan this June! Akshant finished 2nd in the state level competition in the middle school division. Congratulations!!
The Chester County Bar Foundation is holding a Law Day Poster Art Contest. First place winners will be recognized at the Law Day Ceremony at the Chester County Justice Center in West Chester on May 1. Click here for more details!

Congrats to the Hawks who took part in the Chester County Civics Bee. Aayan Khan finished 1st, Andrew Fan took 2nd, and Shaun Kurian took 3rd. All 3 move on to the state competition! Kevin Gu, Akshant Kaveti, Kush Aggarwal, and Shriya Hallur also proudly represented our school!
Patton's Mathcounts team took part in the Chester county competition last weekend. Team members are Andrew Fan, Max Ye, Kevin Gu, Brandon Hsu, Gautam Mannem, Alex Zhang, Andrew Wang, Mason Zhao, Yelaine Zhou, Vanessa Dong, Kaitlyn Ding and Olivia Fan. Brandon finished 5th, Max finished 7th, Kevin finished 9th and Andrew took 10th. Also, Gautam finished 13th, Mason finished 14th, and Alex took 25th. Our school team won the 3rd place among all teams in a close match. Well done Hawks!

Attention any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in participating in a basketball open gym next Wednesday January 24 please simply show up to play! You will meet the coaches and high school players. Open gym begins at 3pm, bring a change of clothes, a water bottle and positive attitude.
